The Challenge
The hospitality refurbishment required new compliant kitchen exhaust extraction across seven hoods while adapting existing air conditioning infrastructure to a revised room layout. The project involved integrating new exhaust and make-up air systems with existing services, coordinating rooftop penetrations, and relocating operational HVAC equipment without disrupting system integrity.
Our Solution
We designed two interlocked kitchen exhaust and make-up air systems serving seven hoods, each fitted with exhaust fans, make-up air fans, VSD control, galvanised ductwork, and ceiling grilles. We also sealed rooftop penetrations and relocated two ceiling cassette units and one wall-mounted air conditioning unit, extending pipework, drains, controls, and electrical connections as required to suit the refurbished layout.
