Flagsmile Gates Road Air Conditioning Works | Commercial HVAC Upgrade
Commercial air conditioning upgrade at Flagsmile, including a new plant room split system and modifications to the main ducted system to improve air distribution and system performance.
The Challenge
Flagsmile needed air conditioning works across both the plant room and the main conditioned area. The job involved adding dedicated cooling to the plant room while reworking the existing ducted system to better suit the space, including grille repositioning, diffuser additions, drain changes and control relocation.
Our Solution
We installed a 2.5kW Panasonic reverse-cycle inverter wall split system to the plant room with the outdoor unit mounted on the roof, drainage run to the outside garden, and power provided by others. We also carried out main air conditioning upgrade works including a prestart site visit, repositioning 13 supply air grilles, supplying 4 new round ceiling diffusers, adding 2 new flexible duct branch take-offs, extending drains, relocating controllers, and running and balancing the system on completion.
